EXW. Ex-works, ex-factory, ex-warehouse, ex-mill. The seller fulfills his obligation to deliver when the goods in his factory, workshop, etc.. available to the buyer. It means that the goods are placed on board the ship with all costs, fees and risks borne by the seller until the goods have passed the ship's rail, freight excluded. Requires the seller to clear the goods for export. This term can be used only for transportation by sea or inland waterways.

FAS. (Free Alongside Ship - Free Alongside Ship) The abbreviation is followed by the name of the port of embarkation. The price of the goods means putting along (side) of the ship at the named port on the dock or barge, with all costs and risks to that point by the seller. The buyer must clear the goods through customs. This term can be used only for transportation by sea or inland waterways.

CFR. (Cost & Freight - Cost and Freight) The abbreviation is followed by the name of the destination port. The price includes the goods placed in the port of destination, freight prepaid but surely not covered. The seller must clear the goods through customs and may be used only in the case of transport by sea or inland waterways.

CIF. Cost, Insurance & Freight - Cost, Insurance and Freight) The abbreviation is followed by the name of the port of destination and the goods price includes destination port start prepaid and insurance covered. DES. (Delivered Ex Ship - Delivered Ex Ship) The seller fulfills his obligation when the goods available to the buyer on board the ship at the port of destination, not cleared for the import.
